Good job Atalante, and thanks for describing how to do it. I've been wondering for the last 18 months how to get the plexiglass out. I've already got a pair of Brooklands screens from years ago, when I had them on an old T type MG. I knew I would need them again!

Thanks , I understand now.

I believe this is one of the most visually attractive jobs you could do to this car, and would love to have a go.
I just have to pluck up the courage to do it - much respect to yourself for having a go and making it a success.

Screens like this seem to be available from a few places - can I ask where did you get yours and what the parts were called ?

Thanks

Kimble Engineering in Dartmouth make these screens Nippy, as well as the famous Brooklands steering wheel. Look here: http://www.johnkimble.co.uk/main.htm

If the Kimble screen in the bottom picture could be adapted for the M3W it looks like it could cover up the the mounting slot for the old screen which would be ideal .
