PDI at the factory isnt up to standard at all..i felt the car on braking takes to the right, just did bleeding to the front brakes, the left side had air,now the brake pedal is firmer..easy steps, have someone push the brake pedal a couple of times hard, then keep their foot down & someone opens the brake nipple on the caliper,do each side 3 times, the brake pedel will get firm. -when i change gears i feel from each gear to another its hard to get into another gear, as if you arent full on the clutch, just remove the cover on top of the pedals, wrench #8...they are 5 bolts, then unlose the nut on the clutch pedal beam, tturn the beam inwards if you need more clutch..did it,now changing gears is so much better,easier,70% better, and i tried speeding, the clutch wasnt slipping i didnt over adjust it,these few things should be done by PDI before the custmer gets it!as the car is all a kit put together, they should adjust things better

Yes Mike,i told the factory to double check it as we dont have a dealer here & i dont want many people to work on it here as they might ruin something else or not being able to fix it

It would be interesting to read the replies. I read also that you had issue with the shipping agents too? Was that arranged via the factory or independently? Ordinarily issues such as yours would be resolved with the supplying dealer, hopefully to your satisfaction. My guess is that direct purchase from the factory relies upon one person to sign the quality control off before packing for export. I may be wrong here, but your issues sound like the car is completely unroadworthy.

There seem to be quite a considerable amount of problems on various three-wheelers judging by this forum over the last couple of weeks.
I hope the factory is taking note of this.
It may be "acceptable" for those owners based near the factory or close to a good dealer, but it's not much fun for overseas owners.
If they really intend to expand into overseas markets I feel they still have a lot of work to do. The factory is indeed taking note of ownership feedback, although out of the 1000 plus cars produced to date, there are very few dissatisfied owners. Sadly, owner/user forums always produce results for those who shout loudest and longest & TM is not alone in this regard. The danger of buying 'blind' and unsupported locally is well documented be it via ebay or via a car factory, and to a certain extent is fraught with issues. As a simple example, if a nut comes undone or a wire comes loose due to packaging/vibration or mis-handling, guess who gets the blame..? These are not DVD's, they're complex machine assemblies..

You'll be aware no doubt, that 2014 sees MMC offering rectification modifications of the bump steer and bevel box issues. These were clearly not isolated incidents, and a number of M3W owners raised the issues on these very pages. Equally, the fact that MMC have & are doing this leads on to the next point, namely:
I hope the factory is taking note of this.
I rest my case.
Given the relatively small number of owners that post on this forum there are a relatively large number of problems reported.
Opinions & forums...again...
I think we're all aware of the realities of Internet forums.
Exactly.
Whenever I watch a football match, there always seem to be more opinions offered from the terraces about the game than those offered by the players.
That's MY point

So, what exactly are you saying Steve? That the forums are nothing but hot air, or that there are problems with the car and that the relatively few owners who frequent TM aren't typical of the majority of owners or that the cars do have problems and that most [over 1000 now], don't shout loudly?
It's unlike you not to be clear in what you are saying.
And, for the record, owning a Three Wheeler is nothing like watching a game of football.

People are loving it,but i don't think many people will fork the money for it,as there is no dealership here(maintinice is a big factor) as people here in q8 want to drive 24 hrs with no break down worries.By the way tri-star might take dealership for the new bmw campagna t-rex.if they do I'm ordering a white 1 with red interior.
