After trying to buy a copy in the uk for weeks, I have just managed to order a copy from Grand Prix Legends £60 + P&P.

Despite the web site quoting in stock and a despatch date of the 6th January, I have had the same email. I am planning to ring them next week if no further progress.

The book has not been published yet. I think in effect we pre-ordered it. I haven't been charged and when I called them they said they would charge me the day they send it.
I also asked if they could find out if they could get me a leather one for £100 as it is the limited edition. Still waiting for a reply. Also emailed the publisher to ask and still waiting for a reply.

I thought that only in Italy they would mark an item as available even if it was a kind of fundraising and/or pre-ordering. The world is not that big.

Update:
I have just had an email from another supplier stating that stock is expected by the 15th February and that factory already have some leather bound (CM signed) advanced copies.
I have just emailed Grand Prix legend's with this info and requested an update.

I saw this book at MOG 2013 and my immediate thought was to order one with the aluminum cover and maybe even the ash box !
On flicking through the pages of the book I was most disappointed . There's wasn't much I hadn't seen before and no chassis records whatsoever, something I would have considered essential. I didn't even order the basic £60 book although I may consider adding it to my collection if it appears on Ama*on at £35.
