If one could be made to fit the "easy up" mounting points it would be quick and easy to fit. It would have to incorporate the front header rail and clamps and the lower rail with the "plug in" catches.

The question is how to quickly remove the standard hood: I can't see it being possible to have the fabric hood under the hard top.

The Easy up hood seems to be fixed by a single mounting pivot each side, has anyone actually removed an easy up hood? How difficult would it be?

If that can be done relatively easily making a mould from expanded polystyrene foam isn't that hard and there are plenty of GRP specialists who could then make the top.

Hmm..this is worth thinking about.

Or is it?

Do I really want a hard top Morgan?

That needs thought.

The ones I've inspected are fitted using the Easyup front and rear mounts. The one thing I didn't check was the mid mounting point although I suspect that bolts to where the Easyup hood is normally fitted.

Peter...it could be an interesting project, something I've casually thought about a few times. Perhaps we could get Henry Williams interested!
