Combining PeterG's rubber strip and HJP'S cut down plexiglass , fit a rubber strip cut from sheet rubber the thickness of the plexi in place of the plexi in the body slots, held in by the bolts in the same way as the plexi, sticking up just enough to touch the lower side of the aero screens ?
The shape would approximate to atlante's aluminium filler piece, but be about an inch taller.
This would achieve the effect seen in the photo above where there is a black band below the windscreen.

Good idea thumbs

If you can get the rubber in a thickness to fill the strip left by the removal of the plexi glass and silicon, it would make replacement in the future of the worn rubber very economical and a reasonably easy job.

Now if we can get the strip in the middle filled in as well raise the height of the windscreen frames we can start on the roof wink

I had Brooklands aero screens on my last 3 wheeler and you couldn't pay me to fit them to this one.
They look great but are next to useless in the wet.

They are approx the same surface area as the factory ones, so assuming we can make the joint with the body watertight, how would they be any worse?

Sort of, but without the windows at the side just a rear window and preferably in aluminium.

However it wont be for a few years as it will effect the warranty I have been told.

Then when you start to think about I might as well get a 4 wheeler with a hard top.
