I know I just got signed up here but I'm over flowing with questions. I have done a fair amount of reading here before getting site approval but didn't stumble across the answers I was looking for...so please bear with me as I'm just trying to get a feel for what to expect. What is the total mileage on your M3W? What is your longest trip to date (to & from your destination)? Would you have any reservations about leaving out on a trip next week traveling +/-10,000 miles (16,000kms) before returning home? Are parts books/service manuals available for the M3W?  Sorry, but I just had to ask. Z

Total mileage 4200, delivered May 2013
Longest trip 2300 miles UK to Italy and back
10,000 miles probably not in any car

A day on twisty roads seems to be 250 miles without walking like John Wayne. On autoroutes maybe double
2022 Plus Four, 2023 Super Three, Range Rover Vogue SDV8 and Triking T3.

I took the auto-train to skip a few auto-bahn (=highway) km
and would do that again in any Trad/M3W
why drive boaring roads when you can sleep doing them in a coach
just need to plan well in advance

I've done 1400 miles since 8th October 2012. Longest trip 200 miles through Scottish highlands, lots of narrow twisty roads. If you were to do a 10k trip you would need to plan ahead for the 3000 mile service intervals.
Most of the service could be done at a competent garage but the diagnostic socket is a USB connection not a regular OBD socket & I suspect you cannot get the software to put on a laptop. Its likely Morgan will only release the software to dealers. The socket is located under the fusebox cover under a 2 screw cover on LH side.
As you are Stateside perhaps S&S outlets have diagnostic facilities assuming Morgan use standard S&S mapping. Can anyone confirm this?

i've done over 1400 miles in less than 6 months next summer will increase limited mileage 5000. Will be looking to drive down to do silverstone classic which way round trip around 800 miles
Very much in the dog house, could be up for rehoming

Zackabilly before you set off you may want to read the Tool Kit thread & include a spare set of rubber exhaust mounts, I had 2 fail under 1300 miles. Also consider doing the trailer mud guard mod. If this has not been done I hate to think how much crud would have accumulated under the boot tray after 10K miles.
I guess you will be doing a lot of your own work so a tip my dealer gave when changing your oil. Rather than use the drain on the oil header tank disconnect the hoses on RH side of engine, just mark them first.
There are spare electrical tails under the fusebox cover with white plastic snap connectors. On my car the purple/white one is always live & fed from fuse 18 Intercom. It has male pins & strangely with engine off measures 17.4 volt. There is another black/orange female pins fed from fuse 4 Instrument panel, live with ignition on. A third one black/light blue female pins, live with ignition but did not find which fuse as did not want to take out fuses 3, 5, 6 & 11 as they are engine related & leave well alone. Its not fed by any of the others.
