We are going especially since my Xmas present should be there, a Gulf Race Carry All. The Misses couldn't find one anywhere so we opted to wait till Le Mans.
On another note I was thinking of striping the Max up with the Gulf Orange Decal, what do you think and what number should it wear.

You are very lucky to have booked in advance at that price. I did try them but like all others within about 30 km of the track they are complete.
I have made a booking at a very nice place, 50 km from the track, at €150 a night for 2 nights, Le Moulin du Pont d'Iverny. I have booked it with booking.com and they have confirmed it but I think I should give them a day or two in case they write back to say the room is not actually available. I think even this distance is almost too far so if this is not available I will probably drop the whole idea.
Peter Have you been in touch with Quentin, it really is worth contacting him for this very reason. I was advised to contact Quentin early 2012, he provisionally booked me in with the intent of placing me in a Hotel approx 20km away from the event, but suggested that people and teams DO drop out, within a matter of weeks he had upgraded me to the Arbor on the Le moulin straight and it was worth every penny, this also now gives me automatic option to book in advance for 2014 as I have done. It's worth an Email of anyone's money.
