You can`t blame the upholsterer - I believe his guide dog chooses the colours.

*$49,500.00 I readily admit to having been blindsided (staggered)by the result, buyer must be overjoyed, beyond his/her most optimistic expectations I'm sure. Wondering how I managed to delude myself so completely into thinking it might have been a bargain purchase!.... I'd be interested in knowing where it's new home will be and how many bidders were involved, they all had to be stubbornly intent in owning the car and certainly not too mindful of it's interior livery, perhaps that is the attribute that won them over! oops

That's really a lot. I bought an 1965 +4 that played a role in the the movie War of the Roses for 29.990 EUR last month. But I decided to pass the car to my good friend, who was really excited when he saw it (much more than me). I have got already two other Mogs and I'm thinking about another purchase now smile And it's great that the car stays here in Prague and with my good friend... But when I see this price for the same car without the movie history, I should ask more than 30k EUR + a few other costs smile
