Does anyone know if these are available?

I have just re-read your post and spotted something that may help you: 50mm is almost two inches, so the Krazy Horse spacer or other similar should meet your requirement.

Sorry, I've also re-read my post and I meant 0.5" - 1.0" so the Krazy Horse one is a bit too big.

Hopefully the 25mm spacer from Revolution should fit the bill nicely.

It's easy to get confused in metric/imperial conversions. But why do you want such a short spacer?

Just to give a little more clearance for my left leg between the wheel and the central tunnel without bringing the wheel too close to me.

I found with the quick release there is a 2 stage lock (a bit like a bonnet catch). One time I accidentally drove the car with the wheel in the not fully latched position which gave about 0.5" more room and it made quite a difference to me.

You cannot order that one: it was machined by "atalante", who is skilled at that kind of thing. I'd go for one of the others discussed above. The Krazy Horse spacer, as I mentioned, looks like Original Equipment. It takes less than five minutes to fit...provided you have a special tool to remove the security bolt that the factory fits.

I spoke to John at Revolutions yesterday & they are considering making a batch. First should be ready 8 to 10 days.

Given we are both tall with 36" inside legs, we needed extra space to be comfortable in our early M3W. We made a spacer ourselves from a 50 mm long block of round aluminium bar of 3 inches/~75 mm diameter. This came from a brilliant website called Click Metal that cuts to size. (http://www.clickmetal.co.uk) The metal was just over £5 + VAT + postage and was immediately usable without adjustment. Careful marking, drilling 3 holes with a pillar drill and buying suitably long bolts plus nyloc nuts and a spray of matt black paint meant the whole job was around £20....

We did look for a ready made spacer but could not find one that did not cost £50+ and require adapting - since we have the kit and enjoy tinkering, the DIY route was the way to go. Fuel capacity is now the limit for time at the wheel.

Usefully the spacer does not do enough for our 7 foot tall son to get in and drive which saves all the arguments about insurance for a 23yr old.....

Only having a inside leg of 31" I've never needed the spacer, so forgive me if this question seems a little silly, but doesn't spacing the wheel out, mean that it is then too close to the chest for easy twirling, or does it have that vintage up close feel.
