Yep, my question too, given that my local dealer had the car for nearly a week, just to check that the BB was noisy, and that MMC would change it, they were out of stock and I was unwilling to leave the car there any longer, left out in the rain etc. so I left with the promise of a 'phone call when a new BB box was in stock, for which I'm still waiting, and that was in early October!
Obviously, now there is a fix, when my box is changed, I would like the insulating rubber to be fitted, but don't know what it looks like yet, nor whether the noise insulation is being fitted under warranty?

My car is booked to go back to the factory for a bevel gearbox warranty change in March, arranged some time ago. I recently asked if the NVH mount could be done at the same time as the box change and assumed that it would be cheaper than the £474 (inc. VAT and fitting) that was quoted, as the box had to come out anyway. The reply I got was that the NVH mount change was made no easier by the BB change and it was a fixed price. I have no idea yet what this modification looks like or what is involved with the change. Someone mentioned engine and gearbox removal but I find that hard to believe. I hope they have a spare BB in stock by March!

Well mine was collected for this work last week, I will keep you updated. I agreed to the NVH at same time as they replaced the BB. I plan to use some sound insulation afterwards as well.

Guys I may have misled/ confused the situation on this one, the engine and gearbox will require removal for compensator work. It does not need to be removed for the bevel box, I will post a picture of of the setup tomorrow when back at work.

Hi Mark Are you able to advise when this improvement will be available to those of us off shore ( ie New Zealand ) There are at least two cars with very noisy bevel boxes here waiting for a good solution. These are early cars ( manufacture April 2012, delivey received june 2012) and we have concerns that the warranty period is fast disappearing. Any advice would be appreciated nigel

.....for compensator work. Mark, Can you give us any words of encouragement on the performance of the new compensator? With only a few hundred miles on mine (imported into the US in October 2013...750 miles from a dealership), I've reluctantly elected to park it until a fix is available as I don't want the existing compensator to create further problems downstream in the drive train that may show up later. Hoping against hope, some good feedback on the new compensator would be a good thing for several of us and may serve as a light at the end of the tunnel. Z

I asked and never received an answer. Glad you gave it another go. Hey, BigP, It is a pretty important question for me as I've never been in this position or situation where I had a new pricey vehicle with less than 2k miles on it that has problems rendering it useless and no clear answers on a resolution. I am in business designing, manufacturing, assembling and servicing products/equipment and have to stand behind my products. If my products don't perform correctly, its back on me on an expedited schedule to get any issues resolved to provide a properly functioning product while keeping our customers abreast of the situation all along the way. At that point, I can't focus too much on future sales until I've satisfied my current sales. Being a unique car built on a limited basis, we current owners are Morgan's sales staff but, at this point, I can't see me recommending one to anyone I like. Not trying to be negative but something really stinks about all this. At this point, I'd gladly fix it on my own dime if parts were available just to get the intended use out of it but everything seems so secretive and tight lipped as it pertains to solving the M3W issues. It looks great sitting in my shop but now people have started asking me why I am not driving it anymore (though I'm still regularly riding motorcycles) and I am too ashamed to say...and I don't shame easily. I'm trying to prolong how long it will be before I get the "a fool and his money..." comment. And unfortunately and as it stands now, I won't be able to put up much of an argument or have a leg to stand on when that comment eventually comes (I'm anticipating it in the Spring). I have bought plenty of experience in my day on many products but nothing on this scale. If it had 80k miles on it, it would be as jagged a pill to swallow. Anybody can have problems with mechanical things but its how it is handled that separates the good from the bad. It's not like its a minor thing like the self-cancelling blinkers aren't cancelling or even the bump steer (I can deal with that manually). The compensator has basically left me dead in the water and I know running it until it fails completely will adversely effect the balance of the car. I do love my little car and obviously, I wanted it but, admittedly, the bond would be much stronger if it were something that I could use for its intended purpose. I had a vivid imagination about the car and using it before receiving it but somehow I managed to miss imagining all this....especially so early on. I just paid about the same money for a brand new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 4-door crew cab with a 6.6L Duramax diesel engine (800 ft./lbs. of torque @ 1,600 rpms), Allison 6-speed transmission, 11.5" rear end, 4-wheel drive, LTZ package complete with navigation, DVD player with two monitors, sunroof, back-up camera, heated & cooled seats, blue-tooth compatible, power everything and Bose sound system...which is putting it into a perspective I'm not loving at this point. If tomorrow I determined that my truck was stuck in second gear rendering it useless, I know I wouldn't be left to my own devices and imagination to get the problem resolved even if my dealer was 750 miles away....especially if it were a design flaw on Chevy's part. Once stuck in this situation and having time to ponder, I have trouble believing that the demos provided to use in all the YouTube-type "review" videos were not hand-picked and weren't equipped with a compensator that functions like the one in mine or any competent test driver would have pointed it out at the very least or refused to drive the car for fear of a melt-down/lock-up at speed. But judging by what I've read so far, I guess I'm preaching to the choir on this one. Z
