Need some pics from the front and side of the MG please! Looks absolutely gorgeous! The T-series MG's never really did it for me...but your car appears to be a completely different beast!

just love that MG - a real beauty!!  am delighted for u - and a tad envious at the same time!!:))  And delighted too that u are keeping yr M3W - mine too is a May 12 car chassis 116 - so our cars could have been "born" at the same time!  also like u have pretty well - but not quite - got the car sorted! BUT the Compensator is starting to play up - make a distinct rattling noise on start up and pull off - which I understand is not a good sign:(( any advise on this would be welcome.

Is the motor supercharged ? The cowling in front of the radiator might lead one to believe it is.

...sounds like it needs replacing under warranty. Mine's on its second and the latest one is the best one so far but it isn't the new design that's just been announced....it will be interesting to see if that finally banishes the infamous 'box of bolts' rattle...

Yes it's supercharged, although the front cowl is fake as the charger is mounted on the side of the engine....it gives an easy 80hp which is about right on a 1930's chassis with drum brakes.
I took the MG and the M3W out today and it was interesting to compare the 2...the ride quality, steering precision and overall comfort and dynamics of the M3W is in a different league, but both have bags of character and charisma, albeit delivered in very different ways.
