Have you spoken with the factory on this? I know they would be aghast if they read this.
If it were me, I would be expressing this to them directly.

Tough position to be in! You must be very frustrated What is your dealer Saying? He is the one who has profited and carries the Liability? The factory's issue is a moral one. If you get no joy from your dealer then I suggest you contact the factory and let them know their dealer is not fulfilling his obligation. I imported a Raptor into the UK and knew I was on my own should anything go wrong but you have a dealer (and a warranty I guess) who should be looking after you. Good luck
Cheers

I apologize for the rant. After reading PeterG's thread, I am encouraged on the new compensator, as well as, other upgrades. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/177843/The_Bitch_is_back#Post177843Yes, I do have a warranty and yes, I believe I, now, have some help coming through my closest dealership. Warranty or not, one way or the other, I want it fixed. I lusted after the vintage M3W and now the newer generation to a point that I'm going to be a M3W owner if it kills me. I'm not wanting to point fingers, I don't feel like I've been duped, I am not looking for handouts and don't mind doing whatever required to get it going properly. I'm not worried about feeling like I got my money's worth or the such. I just want the fun aspect of the M3W. I've driven it enough miles to know it is a hoot to drive and can appreciate it for what it is. It is so close to being my perfect toy and I'm am anxious to bring it to its full potential in that respect. Fun is the name of this game. The fact that it draws so much attention is a double-edged sword when the compensator is misbehaving in public. Sounds like the Centa compensator is panning out. They have good products and a good reputation which was a smart move on Morgan's part. Centa Transmissions Ltd UK Our cleverly reworked cushion drive that gets a mention in the @Telegraph 2014 Morgan 3 Wheeler Review. My dealer is 2,000 miles away for me! I agree with all you said. There is another thread I started asking about the new Centa compensator. The Morgan expert answered with an I'll find out & get back to you. Still waiting for technical information & a price. Morgan needs a full time guy on this board to respond to owner needs. I've recently wondered if England doesn't have a Lemmon law like the USA does?

I apologize for the rant. Can't speak for anyone else but no apology needed on my behalf, your frustration was clear to read and you did not come across to me as anything other than anxious and eager Glad to hear things may be going the right way and you can get back on the road Big, I can also understand your predicament being so far from the dealer, but he still is your point of contact Surely? He's closer than the factory, can exert more influence than you should he want to and has supplied you with the product, thus is legally obliged? If you are having no joy from your dealers then the factory need to know this and I would respectfully suggest that you contact them directly rather than just through a somewhat anonymous forum. I know for a fact that the factory are going beyond their obligation (IMHO - legal not moral) to try and resolve. As I mentioned, I spent a year driving my Raptor wondering about chassis failure; I'm pretty sure there wouldn't have been a hope in hell of me getting any assistance or come back if that had happened Your situation is different.
Cheers

Hi Zackybilly, On Wednesday I drove a car with chassis number 2,so a very early car. This car has been fitted with the comfort pack the very latest compensator and the bevelbox kit.All I can say is that the difference is dramatic! You can drive the car down to 1200 rpm in say third gear and pull away clean without any transmission snatch which mean you can now use the whole rev range not as before from 2500 rpm. The bevelbox noise has all but disappeared which is great.I have covered the steering comfort kit in a earlier post as has other people. My car will be back at the factory next week for compensator and bevelbox mods. It is most important that you insist you dealer does what he is supposed to do and sort your car out.I am sure the factory will support you and you dealer to make you a happy chap as they have with many of us M3W owners. Keep pushing your dealer Regards David

I really want the upgrades, but the installation that worries me the most is the compensator.i dont know if its possible to upgrade it correctly here in Kuwait.i will just have to wait & decide later if i have to ship the car back to the factory or if its possible we can fly a mechanic to Kuwait for a couple of days.all expenses on me will still cost me less than shipping it in a 20 ft container back & forth to the factory

Hi Zackybilly, My car will be back at the factory next week for compensator and bevelbox mods.
Hi David, So you had only the suspension (bump steer) mod so far? Or is this something entirely new, destined to the 2015 model? If you re not under NDA I would really like to know about these new mods your car is going to get. Regards Mario

HI Q8 Morgan/Mario, My car was the first customer car to have the bumpsteer comfort pack fitted the middle of last year.At that time the 2014 centa drive compensator was not available to us neither was the bevelbox sound reduction kit,so I had to wait till all the testing was completed and now my car will be updated next week. As regards caring out these upgrades I really think you should have a chat to Mark Evans and seek his opinion as to the best and cost effective way to upgrade your car.To me the work does not seem too tricky but I have a full machine shop at my home and spend my days building racing engines.
Hope this is of help Regards David
