Many thanks to Morgan and the Focus Group. Very positive especially for those of us so far away in the US and soon running out of warranty.

So in the spirit of this new free flow of information, could we have some detail on what was discussed by both parties and what the respective views were on the points expressed please ? So far I have seen lots of back slapping. Last thing we want / need is a closed group .....

Good to hear about a company taking their customers views seriously.
I look forward to further news.

We discussed a lot I believe Mark Leddington had 8 A4 sides of notes. The comments covered the buying experience, dealers, information flow, all the mechanical issues discussed on TM. As was said the people who attended are among the more vocal TM members who I'm sure will come forward if things don't happen so I don't see it being a closed group.

@nippymog, a closed group would of been not telling anyone this meeting even happened. as asbo stated this meeting just happened and we've all got jobs and families to tend to so a play by play of the meeting isn't exactly going to get released the day after the meet up. hell, some of us just landed (granted I had 6,000 miles to cover).
that being said asbo did a great job covering the talking points of the meeting. unfortunately there's no mythical unicorn hiding at MMC that we got to be privy to, just a group of really passionate people on both sides of the table who only want the best for MMC and the current and future owners of all products, not just the 3w.
as someone who's had their fair share of both niggles and straight up issues with their trike but had never gotten a chance to visit the factory in person due to scheduling and the fact i live 6,000 miles away, it was a truly amazing experience. Not because it's some architectural wonder filled with people in white suits and giant robots, but because it's a series of unremarkable buildings filled with remarkable people who like working their hands and preserving an incredible amount of crafts that have in most places gone by the wayside. It brought a human element to the equation that i feel is far too easy to forget about in a word that is mostly automated or made in massive factories in china.
this is not to say that by seeing a bunch of craftsmen and women that morgan get's a free pass on owner's issues, and in fact it would of been easy for the feedback day to be a fluff day but i was impressed by the fact they took the feedback, didn't make excuses and also explained to us the history behind certain decisions, the lessons learned and the steps that have been put in place or are in the process of implementing to make the cars and the buying/owner experience even better.
if i've learned anything from marriage counseling it's that the things we often resent our partners actions or inactions on are things that could often be avoided or better understood by better and earlier communication on both sides. Now add a third person/party in to the mix of that relationship (the dealer) and you can really see the need for better and more frequent communication and feedback.
Lastly, and i know this post is getting quite long but i've been inspired by asbo's wordiness, I'll mention the fact that both the owners and the factory went in to it thinking it would be all about technical details/issues but i'd say 95% of all the discussions were about communication issues we've had with our dealers, the factory and the dealer/factory communications.
I think between this meeting and the worldwide dealer meeting they just held there are some really exciting times ahead as with the new leadership I truly feel they are acknowledging there are weaknesses and areas that need addressing and they have already started to work on them, hell, who would of thought that morgan would of ever held an owner feedback session, especially to a group of owners that have been particularly vocal about the challenges in their ownership experience!
here's to some exciting times ahead and sorry about having to break everyone's bubbles that there isn't a mythical unicorn or even santa claus hiding in the buildings at the factory...
