Steve : My wife wants to be a castration nurse scared : she'd be happy to experiment on the scumbag - and then get rid of what she'd 'stolen' ?

Sorry to hear that Steve.
They never caught the b**tards that did us a couple of years ago as far as I'm aware...

rofl rofl Sounds good to me Jeremy! My solution would be to chop his hands off to stop him doing it again, but they'll probably say he came from a broken home, slap him on the wrist and give him a few hours of community service mad nono ooo

Jack the sentiment is appreciated and I am sure that sort of event could raise further funds; however, we stopped fund raising for Marfan at the close of 2013.

We are waiting for the official total raised but, with gift aid, it is easily in excess of £60,000.00

The TM members played a massive part in helping the total along and for that we are forever grateful. notworthy

As for the watch, I got very close with two British brands but on both accounts, they got cold feet near the end. I did explore a third option but I didn't feel there was enough scope for personalised tailoring and therefore, didn't take it further.

If I was to embark on a TM watch, it would need to be individual and not just a sterile dial with a logo printed on it. The issue of run size comes into play. For reference, I could get 100 unique dials made but if I wanted unique hands, then I needed to have 500 produced. This would mean that you made 50 watches, you'd end up with a lot of spares. As I wouldn't entertain a non mechanical watch, this project was starting to get very pricey.

Not to worry it was just a thought as no matter how much I help charities it never seems enough . Interesting write up in the paper about Boatham in hospital years ago with a broken foot he turned down the wrong corridor and it changed his life . He has raised £17m for kids with leukemia and the servival rate is now 98% . Shame he was not playing cricket this year.
