The hole I cut in the bottom is like a teddy bears head upside down, and then cut 2 angles so it would fit snugly between the trans. tunnel and dash trim.
I then made a hidden clamp to hold it in place so no holes had to be drilled in the trim.
You'd want the Snap Back line, with the black mount. I think I spent $35 each on the clock and thermometer and $15 for the mounts. You then just either glue or double-sided tape them where you want in the Morgan. I would like to re-do all the gauges in general, but that's a project for down the road.
First fix of the Adriatica clock and chronograph. I had a piece of aluminium plate kicking around, so with a bit of bending and 2 x 40mm pipe clips it attaches to frame of the centre console. I'll probably refine it a bit once I find a piece of engine turned material to match the dash but quite pleased with the result.
Nice work. I have just received my Adriatica clock - was going to mount it on the main dash on the passenger side where you have the engine turned replacement pieces , but not sure now .... Are the bolts holding the clocks in place dummies ?
