I presume I have the old system fitted on my S4,since I have the small keyfob?
Or did the factory install the immobiliser type from S4 and up?

My unit failed a few years ago on the S3 and the factory replaced it from stock units for the AeroSS. Still working well.

I'm not sure what unit was fitted to what models, we are talking Morgan! I'm just waiting for the dealer to get back after contacting the factory again, if no luck then I'll try the Hawk unit.

Just out of interest, where is this central locking module located? Deano to find the remote central door locking module you remove the glove box assemble and its up under the bulk head. As I remember the unit is connected to BMW switch gear. Good luck if you plan to do it your self its a bit of a mission.

Hi Deano, mine fell out from under the glove box! so easy to sort out, I put it back with some adhesive Velcro to the side of the glove box behind the leather trim.

Hi
I believe mine was replaced with the SS system also - really annoying the boot doesn't open with the remote - or should it be ?

Gajet Originally the boot would have opened with the remote I had mine pack up on the Series 2 and traced the fault to the mechanism which from memory was from a Fiesta. Changed the unit and worked a treat afterwards.
