Now that IS an engine! The problem is that you'd constantly want to keep lifting the bonnet to admire it!

Lovely engine but modern engines are streets ahead. I had a Escort RS1600 which had 112bhp and 20mpg if driven carefully which at the time was the bees knees, but compared to today's engines is quite poor. Sounded wonderful especially with the air filter removed.

The BDA is essentially half a Cosworth DFV, winner of countless F1 grands prix and variants that won Indycar and sprint and long distance sports car races around the world. Yes, I'd go got that: looks good and can produce prodigious amounts of power.

I looked at it and said " Now thats an engine " . Looked down the list and spotted a certain person got there first . But it just shows you can use it and keep it spotless. Hint Hint , Cough Cough.

Another BDA morgan was featured in MOG magazine about 18months ago... if someone has the back issue.. It was around the time of the Dutch mog event.... when it rained... and rained.. and rained.
