Welcome Lightsphere: please don't keep us all in suspense regarding your colour choice!

Hi, I got the following info from RPM:
The car will have full bonnet louvers and not just a few.
Definitely has traditional style black hood and black side screens.
Door handles (pretty sure about this but don’t hold me to it!).
Body coloured painted dashboard.
Saddle brown leather upholstery.
Black wire wheels.
Standard steering wheel and mirrors.
No wing top side lights, bumpers or over riders.

Dave / Aeroman Many thanks for your information, Are you aware if the seats will any adjustment whatsoever. My colour choice is Black, an attempt to match the leather and wheels. It may look a bit sinister however, with very little crome in the way of a spare and over-riders. I am getting to like it a lot having downloaded a wallpaper of a black version.

BtG But whatever you do Lightsphere, don't do a DynoRod orange-wrap on the wings - pleeese. A Black 4/4 Sport with tan leather will not need any 'enhancement'.

All sounds rather tasty actually - would have gone for black wheels myself,if that had been the default colour rather than silver...

A Black 4/4 Sport with tan leather will not need any 'enhancement'. That's correct, it will look lovely. Unfortunately black is very hard to keep clean. I see this with my black wings. They are always dirty. But the advantage is, that you will stay "in touch" with, and keep "hands on" your car Salut Ivo

Many thanks for your comments. I originally was a John Harvey Jones convert and paid a deposit of £100 to Potterton's in Scotland to get on the waiting list in 1989. When I reached the top of the list in 1997 circumstances had changed for me and I thought the moment had gone forever. This new racey looking version convinced me to turn a 20 year dream to reality. Can't wait now its just round the corner Lightsphere

Unfortunately black is very hard to keep clean. I'm finding that with my new Scoobie - the green one looked fine when plastered in mud and the contents of our local lanes - just a bit rural/agricultural/working vehicle. The black one (green no longer available) however just looks naff and unloved with even a light undercoat of dirt, and really minging by the time the bird poo and tree sap have added a top coat.

@Dave:
Hi, your photographs are very impressive! Congrats for your new car!
There is nothing - absolutely nothing, half so worth doing as simply messing around in Morgans
