Spring service due in a few weeks, going to change the rubber wear as I noticed during the Autumn they are over 10 years old...despite near perfect tread. Got Yokohama's on at present, any advice for replacements for my 4/4?

That's what have been using for the past eight years. Came recommended from a racing tyre supplier.

I have just replaced the tyres on my plus 8, been on the car for 11 years, spare never been on the road. fitted Toyo T1R's as I have them fitted on the 4/4 4 seater. size 205/55/16. Event tyres supplied them, they came to the house and fitted and balance them all ok and at a good price for 5

Great tyres, prices that make the "traditional" brands look a rip off, but the tread pattern looks very "modern" and I'm not sure it looks right on a traditional Morgan, especially with wire wheels. I have these on my tin top at the moment: Rubber They look much more like the tyres of old! Yes they are winter tyres but are good all year round and I'm tempted to fit them to the Morgan when the Avons it has on it wear out. Why use winter tyres all year round? According to the Met Office the only months of the year when ground temperature in the south of the UK is certain to belowabove 7C (the point at which winter tyres are better than summer) are June to September, just 4 months. The rest of the year winter tyres are going to have no worse and mostly better grip than summer tyres.... Makes you think!

Read this a couple of times Peter, then decided that unless you've moved "down under" it may have a typo?

Hi Folks
I also need some new rubber for my 2004 Roadster on alloys - any thoughts on what's best for me (to old to want maximum grip at all times i.e. general use is best)
Thanks in anticipation
