While you are there I'll have one as well, hope you've got a big coat to hide all the contraband luggage racks under!

I desperatly wanted a black rack and fittings when I ordered my car last year, but was told by the factory that it was just not possible.

Looked into getting my rack powder coated, but the problem was that the supplied bushes would no longer fit without some filing down. If you get it wrong the rack can be a loose fit, which results in another unwelcome rattle.

Didn't bother going black in the end and was quite happy with my silver rack....until now mad

Might need to get in touch with that nice Mr Evans...

I've recently had my stainless steel exhaust heat shields powder coated by a local company, for a tenner each and they've come up beautifully. Just get your rack done and ease out the bushes until they fit snugly.

Me Evans has restored my faith.

Test drove car last night and it is transformed. Steering is transformed. Bevel box quiet and car feels quicker.

Sports exhausts will not be for everyone but with plugs for my ears and some tBlets I'll be fine.

Roll on the better weather

Good news sir, you'll get used to the exhaust note calms down on a run they seem louder at low revs.

As for Mr Evans and restoring faith, he's getting quite good at it, could he be the new messiah, no....just a very naughty boy grin2
