I think we all got the gist Simon, no need for the clarification really

I was just about to add that John's credit card should be OK this week, until I remembered the possible temptation of online shopping at Williams

I have a Simmonds Hood,

Only concern, no possibility to mount the standard external perpex wind screen without large modifications, you have to use the internal glass wind screen of Simmonds (beautiful but expensive).

Very simple, easy and quick to use. Previously the car was fitted with the original Morgan easy hood, and the previous owner replace it by a Simmonds hood.
Why? I don't know, but no problem with it under huge rain.
