This sounds as though it could get expensive Mr S. I hope that a certain Westcountry dealer has not seen your post, or your credit card could get toasted!
spend

To avoid misunderstanding: No criticism meant of Williams, who (IMHO) are and have always been a super company. (I've had dealings with them for many years)
My comments are jokingly made towards Jays, who seems unable to visit them without spending money!!

I think we all got the gist Simon, no need for the clarification really wink

I was just about to add that John's credit card should be OK this week, until I remembered the possible temptation of online shopping at Williams innocent

I have a Simmonds Hood,

some photos :

at the rear, there is 2 internal latches :

detail of the rear latch :

full access at the rear :

at the front, 2 external latches :

Only concern, no possibility to mount the standard external perpex wind screen without large modifications, you have to use the internal glass wind screen of Simmonds (beautiful but expensive).

Very simple, easy and quick to use. Previously the car was fitted with the original Morgan easy hood, and the previous owner replace it by a Simmonds hood.
Why? I don't know, but no problem with it under huge rain.

CBY, thanks very much. Good photos and very clear. Still no date from Williams for the fitting, but looking forward to it.

Roger.
