[quote=Dan_Lockwood][quote=Stringers Best Mate]What is this strange measurement system that you use? How tall is 5'-13" in feet and inches, centimetres, fractions of a furlong, cubits, or whatever?
Thanks for the information. Okay, it's really 6'-1", but years ago I just started saying it as 5'-13" as a joke... I could have said 73" tall as well, but 5'-13" makes one think a bit. So from what you said, my head would be above the windscreen as well based on my long waist. That's also my excuse for carrying a bit more weight, as 4" of torso weighes a lot more than 4" of legs. It works for me anyway.

Dan
I'm 6'1" & in a RHD car found no problem with right hand or knee catching bodywork but I could not get my foot off the clutch completely till I fitted a 25mm spacer to the wheel. I raised the front edge of the seat & usually sit on an Airhawk inflatable cushion. With this combination I see over the screen & I like to sit high so I can see LH front wheel.

Yes, I forgot to mention that raising the front of the seat gives a major improvement in comfort.

It's dark and very cold outside at the moment and the lean-to under which the beast resides has no lighting. I shall take some measurements tomorrow (inches rather than fractions of a fathom) unless someone responds before then.
