How about this as a way of transporting a car?
This historic BMC Competition Dept transporter was parked on the other side of the fence whilst we were queing for the ferry on the way to the Le Mans Classic in 2012.
Sorry it is not the main subject of the photo, but there were too many other distractions.
Car behind Stanley was Jays 4/4 Sport. The car in front (rear just showing) was a wonderful Lotus 6.

ps Lady on the far right (holding a jacket) is tlLB. love

PeterG - Are you lucky enough to have homes in both Michigan and Florida?

If you were, you might feel differently about the benefits of a trailer - for example, allowing you to enjoy the joys of the toy and the practicalities of a truck in both locations. Just guessing at the motivation of the original poster...

Some of us are mad enough to try to live our lives in two places at once... It takes compromises

Sometimes it's just more convenient, you don't have to be old, or the Morgan hasn't to be broken down either...! Just a swift transport to the Morgan agent for service on a cold winter day with 500 km to travel. Than, the conditions are better for nice warm BMW!
This trailer has 4 wheels, but no roof!

No, I live in Essex in one home and have never felt the need to own a second home as I thought that was what hotels were for, we are all different and aspire to have / own different things in life. Each to their own.

I was attempting (clearly missed) a humorous comment hence the wink I'll get my....

Nice setup. I know all about the Michigan snow, I'm a Michigander until I moved to St. Louis MO in '03. Our home "area" was Clare and Farwell, but I lived all over the state as my dad worked road construction in the '50s and '60s. I went to 11 different schools up until the middle of the 7th grade when we settled back in the Farwell, Lake Station area. I digress...

MANY years ago I raced snowmobiles and had to travel all over MI to the races. I was just 19 at the time, but we had a great time for a couple years.

My question is this, do you have any closed pictures of the trailer?

Great setup and I hope you enjoy the winter in Florida.

Thanks.

Thanks, that's a nice looking trailer.

I would suspect that you can swivel the nose off to the side and then drive straight out the front when hauling snowmobiles?

Thanks again.

This is my solution of the tailer.
Goal was a compact system.

Rees - very nice solution.
Is it a modified standard trailer or custom built to your specification?
I am trying to get a trailer company in France to do something similar.
