Well it appears that MrWhitewalls.com is NOT going to respond to my emails; it has now been five days since the first one was sent – NOTHING!! banghead
So, it is now on to plan B; an attempt to get a color matched flexible urethane based paint made up by a paint and body shop. flyingpig
We’ll see how that goes; it should prove to be challenging I’m sure. sherlock

couldnt you just order a new set of tires from the factory? With the orange "white wall" attached? Another option would be to clean the paint off all tires and make a new color of your choosing as the "white wall" either on your own or at a professional shop. Still, I cant imagine getting another set of tires wouldnt be a bad call especially considering down the road I am sure that another tire will get damaged.

Then as I mentioned, your best bet is to simply make your own color. Start fresh on all four tires and this way you would have the ability to make touch-ups at whim. Its nothing a good paint shop couldn't handle.

If you are worried about the prestige and history of the original set of orange walled tires as from factory, climate control store them and purchase a second plain set to have painted by a paint shop.

Success, I kind'a think = a definite MAYBE down here. cowboy

Here is Orange sidewall which I messed.

Here is Orange sidewall after first coat of color matched paint applied.

Not too bad, however still has some black shadow on the sidewall showing through.

I ran out of daylight, so had to stop working on it.

Requires a couple of hours to dry between applications.

Will apply another coat later on this weekend and then see how it comes out.

The color match is very close, but not exact.

It appears to be slightly brighter and very slightly more yellow than the original, but it may well be due to not having fully dried yet.

For others who need to touchup their Orange sidewalls the paint code is as follows:

Color is Diamont CM2-4611 made by R-M Paint which is a division of BASF.

It is available from auto paint suppliers that sell BASF paint products.
