It has turned out to be such an easy fix, that I wonder why they took so long to develop it? ooo banghead

Well, we know that now. The car was designed with a lower ride height, but for a number of reasons, the ride height was raised for production cars, but they seem to have forgotten about the steering arms, although this doesn't explain why the suspension geometry is wrong in the first place?

If you look at the Liberty Ace from straight ahead, it had low-mounted, horizontal track rods and a lower ride height. Of course, switching from the Harley engine to the wider-angle S&S introduced a new set of problems, particularly because of the position of the exhaust headers. I thought the turning circle of my Civic was appalling until I got the M3W...

The Ace also had 5in-wide front tyres on 16in rims, which were perhaps better but did not give such a "vintage" look and I think the change was made for this rather cosmetic reason. It would be interesting if that wheel/tyre combination could be offered as an option, using the original Ace mudguards.
