Silly me Philip....yes of course it's a LHD! Well this car is now on the stand at Geneva so hopefully a TMer will lift the bonnet and take some photos for us.

It seems that MMC corrected the specification for the new +4 on their website:

Well, the difference is in detail. 9 hp and 14Nm more than before. That is not much but better than nothing.

Same engine with a Turbo is 240 bhp... One thing is clear, the engine isn't stressed!
As it is a direct injection motor and the limited space under the bonnet I suspect a Turbo with all the additional ducting and inter-cooler isn't going to fit.
I also feel that it would be "wrong" for a Morgan.
But I wonder if a mechanical supercharger could be developed? The sound of a period gear driven supercharger screaming would be cool! An extra 30 or so bhp would do nicely!

Turbos create a lot of heat, so the problems of cooling could be significant. Also, I do agree that a turbo does no seem to be in keeping with the values of a traditional Morgan.
