A biker friend at the weekend recommended removing the screw caps and fitting bike plug caps instead of the stock ones - apparently they are a push on fit onto the thread section of the plug ( i.e. no screw caps ) and dont fall off or loosen. This applies to a certain make of plug cap - cant remember its name - AKG ?

My left spark plug cap comes off every once and a while. Makes for a pretty spectacular noise. Haven´t figured out how to tighten without damaging the rubber - how do you do it?

Sorry i meant the caps on the spark plug itself, but if the factory wire caps come off, look inside them, try to tighten the metal inside that clicks on the spark plug, gentle use pliers on them ]

If the ngk caps are good, try to email them with the spark plug number & if it can be installed on the factory cables.or do we have to order both the cap & cable from them?
