We at Williams Morgan along with Omex are about to start work on the engine upgrades for the black top 1800 Zetec.
If you are willing to allow us to use your car, we would be very grateful. Please contact me for further info.
We only need the one car for now.

I guess I am not the one you are looking for, because I live in Germany.
I will follow your project, because I want to modify my 4/4 with a 2.0 Zetec BlackTop engine plus a new ECU.

Lawrie, you only said 1800cc as you know I have a 2000cc Blacktop Zetec. Swap out the Weber for a free set of throttle bodies though - just kidding!
I'm just about to fit the 5 link rear suspension to my 4/4 - gosh I hope it fits. Got a nice pair of hand built adjustable monotube dampers fitted with 2 stage spring rate - hope that works too! Cheers Peter.

Hello Martin,
i have just finish the change from a CVH 1,6 to a 2 L Zetec Black top, no major problems. I use Parts from Retro Ford, Dansk Eng. und Nodiz Pro ECU.
Do you come to Essen?

Looks great, I want to use the ECU which is installed or switch to an OMEX 600.

Hi Lawrie,
My wife's x reg ( year 2000) Focus fitted with a 1.8L black top Zetec is getting to the end of its life due to rust,
though the engine is good. Would the engine be of use to you??
