keep us posted on what dealer quoted you that and also what they say when you mention that Mark Evans says it should only take 8 hrs vs 22. will be very curious at their response. $560 in labor vs $1750 is a huge discrepancy.

same goes goes for the Bevel Box Isolation as i thought hat was a sub 8 hr job and your dealer is quoting 20.

Sounds like Mark Evans might need to have a chat with your dealer as this is great example of how frustrating it can be being an owner and working with the dealers and the amount of misinformation there is, not to mention being a US owner with no ability to send the trikes directly to the factory for work.

Does anyone have any idea if this is the typical USA cost?

Bevel Box Isolation - parts $490.00 $490.00
Bevel Box Isolation - labor ••• 20hr@ $70.00 $1,400.00

Centa Drive compensator - parts $1,260.00 $1,260.00

Steering Kit - parts $126.00 $126.00
Steering Kit - labor ••• 4 $70.00 $280.00

Fan Kit - parts $135.00 $135.00
Fan Kit - labor ••• 3 $70.00 $210.00

Not Morgan West. Liberty in Seattle. Steering fix seems reasonable and agree that a full week of labor for the bevel box and commentator seems slow. Not many options and alternatives apart from do it yourself. But let's face it, one cannot expect Morgan ownership to be cheap.

i'd PM mark evens as i think for the upgrades/updates dealers are only allowed to charge a certain number of hours. sounds like there might need to be a discussion between mark and pete at liberty about the hours he's charging.

keep us posted as those rates are bonkers.

Mark,
Good to have you aboard on this. Will see my dealer this weekend socially, and mention this, casually. Dealers in the colonies haven't had a new Morgan to sell for quite a while before the M3W. Perhaps some push from MMC will remind them of 'customer service'. cop

Tally Ho ! thumbs cheers

I saw a photo of the engine cooling upgrade and it looks horrible. I would rather overheat than put it on my car. Luckily, limp mode warns you about potential overheating. FYI- This "upgrade" disables limp mode.

Mol,

it is all subjective but when you see it in the flesh you make change your view. I am happy with mine and like the function. I will be in Italy and France in the summer and don't want to cook my engine.

Seems to me these prrices are all (subjective) over the place. Would be nice if the factory stated a "FLAT RATE"

Also, has anyone gotten hold of any kind of factory instruction Manuel that covers these updates for us guys that like to do the work ourselves? Where is Haynes when we need him---
