Agreed. The lovely Lady Budster's son lives in Dartmouth and her grandson goes to shcool in Kingsbridge. . .possibly the prettiest school run that you could have?

Strange....can't see the Tower or the Golden Mile.....must have been coastal erosion after the storms!

Named after the black pool, bottom left as far as I know.

It's not real sand either, more like very fine pieces of shell.

Got Stanley out of the garage with the aim of treating the leather: sunny afternoon, so just a short drive first over Woodbury Common, Newton Poppleford and then back through Budleigh, avoiding the temptation to stop for an icecream.
Then a very pleasant half hour in the sun, treating the leather and vacuuming out the interior.
What a nice way to spend the afternoon.
