oh and lastly whilst I appreciate it is a Retro look I was dissappointed that DR chose a picture of the Pet Shop Boys to promote the vehicle and ruin the generally excellent photos.

Well I've never had a factory tour and I 'get it'. OK I've made it to the factory after 3 years of ownership die to Phil's creation of the Aero Centre and the Chris Lawrence book launch, but I've still no idea what goes on there. I just look at other peoples build photos.

I know if I go and look round I'll be ordering a new car that I can't really afford right now, and would see me having to get rid of the S1 that I love so much.

I guess I need to get in an S4 demonstrator and see what the score is performancewise compared to the S1.

Does any dealer actually have an S4 demonstrator?

There are S4 cars at dealerships, as there are one or two listed for sale on the Morgan site. If you are not able to gain access to one of them, I have no doubt MMC could arrange for a demo.

Having read the feature again, I focused on a great quote from Richard (which as also been highlighted on the final page): -

'The AeroMax's very existence relies on Morgan's liberated contempt for convention'

What a succinct way to sum up MMC; however, what really makes it relevant (imho) is that you could replace the word AeroMax with any product Morgan produce and it still remains as true as when first written.

From Classic to LIFECar, Morgan fly in the face of convention and produce timeless vehicles as a result.

There are vehicles at dealers - none are registered to the road though as the MMC policy on demo cars has changed I understand and dealers seem to be saying it's not economical to run them..

Apologies for the delay, but the first of our two videos are now up on our site. This one is a 6 minute video of Chris' drive in the Aeromax.

http://www.drivers-republic.com/videos/index16.cfm#videos

The second video of our interview with Charles Morgan and the factory tour should be published on Monday after we return from Le Mans.
