It would indeed Paul - perhaps with a rack for the real luggage, the cover stuffed down there might provide a comfy leg rest for the passenger. Might give it a go!

I had planned to put helmets down the footwell.

The tonneau does turn some but not all water.

Give me a couple of weeks and I will have a trial pack. In the garage Ringa, my missus is wholly unreasonable and does not allow the car in the house despite having plenty of space and perfectly usable french doors as access.

Mine is currently sans RHS exhaust (still in the house), on account of the rubbers shearing apart due to the bad alignment when it was bolted up at the factory. Kitchen looks more like a workshop than an upmarket garage right now.

Think I'm may be pushing my luck just about as far as it will go right now....!

Hi R1GA
I elongated the holes on the silencer brackets so the bobbins are no longer under tension, there is plenty of metal on the brackets to do this without a problem.

That's exactly the info I was after, TM turns up trumps yet again..

It's not weather protection uppermost in my mind, but simply covering up the vehicle to stop any pokers & prodders or those sitting-little-Johnny-in-the-seat-for-a-photo-as-they'll-never-know types. Someone did that on my H-D once; saw it through the restaurant window. Some people have no respect, I guess.

Only when staying away from home obviously; I know my neighbours might be rough, but not THAT rough..!

That's exactly what I have done and the new rubber bobbins now line up perfectly - thanks for the tip! Will attack the nearside pipe tomorrow.

BTW, underfloor heating sure makes rolling around next to the car most pleasant..... thumbs

R1NGA, thats it sorted, Im playing the arthritis HSE card and my risk assessment says I need underfloor heating while lying next to car, good catch.

I have a Carcoon Veloce (extra small size), which is perfect for M3W. Its a tent like frame with side and front access doors, which inflates to keep the car protected from damp, dust and anything else that might be going on in the garage.

At £438.00 it is getting on for double the cost of a M3W cover, but it isn't mch more than a Brooklands wheel.

Its like having a full scale model M3W protected in its display box. Well worth it in my opinion!
