I'm another sorry to hear that you're selling your Morgan Giles frown

As others have said, I hope that you stay on TM and keep your excellent posts coming.

Good luck with the business, hopefully you'll be back in a Mog soon thumbs

Thank you all for your kind words. Things are difficult in France at the moment, but I'm sure we'll get things turned around.

As to TMers visiting The Bitter End - I'd be delighted to see any of you out here.

Giles as a fellow 4/4 Sport owner I know how difficult it must be for you to part with it. Hopefully, you won't be too long without a Mog. I have friends in the pub trade in the UK and know how difficult a business it is here and I'm sure it is doubly difficult in France too.

Good luck in turning it around. Look forward to your posts.

It would be a pleasure to see you here. We're about 2 1/2 to 3 hours drive from the channel tunnel

The address of The Bitter End is 20 rue St Pierre, 78100 St Germain en Laye. Telephone 00 33 1 34 51 90 09

We import Adnams Ales and Aspall Cyder from Suffolk, Westerham Ales from Kent and O'Hara's stout from Carlow in Ireland. The food is typical pub grub; Fish & chips, bangers, burgers, ribs, steaks, salads & so on. Parking in St Germain is a bit of a 'mare ), but there are a couple of safe underground car parks not far away.

St Germain en Laye is directly west of Paris, about 10 miles as the crow flies from the Place de la Concorde. It is where the french kings used to live, Louis XIV was born here, and when he moved into Versailles he lent the Chateau de St Germain en Laye to his first cousin James II of England when he was ousted by the Glorious revolution in 1688. James installed his court, and the population of St Germain en Laye swelled with the Jacobite arrivals from 8 000 to 12 000.

A real shame that you are having to sell your 4/4 and as others have said; I hope your business is soon back in a position where you can justify buying another Mog.
Also, please keep posting; TM wouldn't be the same without you.
cheers
