I emailed MTWC asking for info about club, I had no response. If the screens fold or open wipers & washers are not required. I'm surprised at no response - read your PMs please! I'll have a go for you.

Thanks Dan that looks very smart - I'm pretty sure we would need wipers and washers on a fixed windshield over here.

Great thing TM I learn something new every day - thanks for the photo. Richard, most hot rodders go without wipers and just use RainX on their windshields and the water just beads off and clear sailing ahead.

I would file screen & hood under 'Interesting' its not on my wish list. Pretty sure you would get into the wipers & washers are needed scenario.

Richard, most hot rodders go without wipers and just use RainX on their windshields and the water just beads off and clear sailing ahead. This is one of those things where local regulations come into play. In the UK, it's a windscreen if you look though it, and aeroscreen if you can get adequate forward visibility looking over it. And wipers and washers are needed for windscreens in the UK. I'd not be surprised if the regulations in Australia were similar, but I'll have to leave it to residents of that country to find out.
