Rose at Fairbourne Carriage sent these to me this morning. Fairborne said, "We can supply a kit with instructions for £220 plus shipping should you wish to place an order." She refers to this as an aeroscreen, not a windscreen, so maybe they're thinking about the wiper laws on the books. Very clean lines. Rose said that it used existing mounting for the upgrade. So I guess it has tabs that go down into the existing single sindshield slots with the addition of the center joint connector. "The upgrade aero screen kit is easy to fit using the existing fixings. It provides a lot more protection and is made of shatter-proof plastic." I think others here posted their contact information. I hope these pictures are not redundant to others already posted. Enjoy!

I haven't had a chance to check the wiper regs. but I seem to remember that if the screen did not have a top rail, it did not need wipers, as per the Faibourne screen. I'll have a hunt for the regs when I get some time.
I'm in two minds about whether I like the Fairbourne screen or not. If I had seen that before the OE fly screens, I would probably prefer it.

On page 80 of the latest MOG magazine is an advert from Fairbourne Carriages for the GT full width aero screen with a photo. Priced from £220 plus Vat. Looks interesting apart from the wiper issue in the UK.
Ah.....see Dan already beat me to it!

They look good to me Dan and are maybe not tall enough for UK to allow exemption from wipers/washers, I feel sure they must have looked into it.
My understanding from Martyn is if you look over them they are exempt.

Yep, that's kevin rivettes. I know the windscreen and top quite well as we both worked together looking at historic photos of different kinds of windscreens for both morgans and non morgans and also was privileged to visit the shop where they were making prototypes for the screen. was amazing to watch guys work like that. I've got tons of pics from the wooden prototypes and mockups but sadly not at liberty to disclose them. the windscreen is a think of beauty and totally changes the dynamic of driving the car as it allows you to put a hat on and do hundreds and hundreds of miles a day without feeling beat up but still keeping the visceral feel that makes the trike great. i know the top is polarizing but a bit of background behind it as kevin commissioned it as he likes taking epic 5,000 mile road trips each summer and has for decades. He's got a 1960's four seater morgan that he's got over 250,000 miles on it. he wanted to take the trike instead but needed a way to deploy a top incase he got caught in a nasty torrential downpour during the summer months on the trip. the top is not permanent and can be collapsed down and easily put in the passenger footwell while still allowing a passenger to be there. the biggest challenge with doing a top is having to clear the drivers head which makes attaching directly to the roll bars impossible (unless you're incredibly short). Kevin has custom head rests that fit of the roll bars that look quite nice but also serve double duty and not eh back there's an insert where the rod from the top fits in to allowing the height to be adjustable. there's no side or back screens on purpose as at speed it's not necessary and the purpose of the top was to be able to drive the car while in the midst of a storm and of course when parked you can also put a proper tonneau cover on it for storage. was really a shame how the how thing went down last year with kevin on the forum as i know him personally and have watched in amazement as the guy has personally bankrolled crazy ass projects for his own trike as he just wants it to be an ultimate motoring machine. I won't go an to any more details and bring up old issues. long story short, kevin's windscreen is stunning and a piece of art, and his top is a great solution for his needs to staying covered in an impromptu rainstorm. and sadly they are just that, they are Kevin's and if you can't read between the lines he's an uber successful intellectual property strategist and attorney and he's not an automotive accessory. maker which means these were purely done to serve his needs and not meant to be a business which is a shame as i think there would be lots of people who would dig on them. personally i'm trying to get a windscreen as it's gorgeous and really transforms the driving experience. TBD though. Can someone scan or take a picture of the hood and windscreen in the MTWC and post it? This was posted by a friend on the Morgan France F/B site.

i'd be curious how that holds up at speed as i know people have talked about doing larger plexi windscreens to replace the stock ones but the issue has always been at a certain size the pressure/force from the wind at 80+ mph bent them too much. it does look quite sharp and is kind of a modern/minimalist throw back to the shape of the vintage trikes. nice find! Thanks Blake for the history of this handsome screen and accompanying half roof. I had no idea about Kevin and the roadtrips etc.
That screen must sell there seems to be a lot of interest in a bit more protection for those that like a modicum of comfort, and a waterfree lap.

glad the update helped 4/4. felt so bad when the who kevin thing went down as i think there were so many misunderstandings about intentions when the reality was kevin is just a super passionate morgan enthusiast who drives the hell out of his cars and wanted to make them the best at any cost.
as for selling well that's the thing, the screens not for sale nor are any of the other amazing things he's done. The only way i'd be able to get one is the fact i'm a personal friend of his and i might be able to pursued him to give me access and approval for the fabricators he works with to make another one for me.
