I had 225/35/18's on the front and 255/35/18's on the back of my Cerb.. although this does mean little flex I guess most Cerb owners use them.. OR... Eagle F1's

Any thoughts on using different sizes on an S1 Aero ala S2/S3/S4???

I took a look at the sizes... the rims could in theory take a few different fitments.

On the front though you'd be restricted by the intake pipe over the off-side wheel... ie. rubbing

I'll look into it... though possible not in time for your needs.

I think that the main drive around size change was ride quality?

Hi Phil,

I came across a test report of these tyres the other day, can't remember the site, I'll search for it.

But the Goodyear came out way in front overall, quite a lot better than both the Toyo and the Kumho and actually came out top of the list.

Sorry guys I've been busy buying cars woohoo

Toyo 888 transformed my car.....much better that MPCS in the wet. I put them on a spare set of wheels specifically for track days but found them to be so good on road too that I've ended up leaving them on.

Side walls are a bit stiffer as with all track tyres compared to the Pirelli things that were fitted previously.

My Wifes Albert Finny has the proxys fitted and the thing wheels spins all over the shop in the wet...but that could simply be down to 200 horses through the front wheels

888 Are bound to wear out quicker....not sure what compound mine are cos there are no letters stating such. Never knew SG existed.

Std Pirellis used to spin the wheels in the dry under 2nd gear acceleration...I think it'd be hard pushed to spin in 1st now.

These cars are so light I think they're crying out for sticky tyres.
