Yes, it looks like you choose the right oil. A good synthetic will cut down on engine wear and will run a bit cooler as well. Another excellent synthetic oil is AMSOIL 20W-50 motor cycle oil, but I'm not sure if it is available in your area.

Time to use the range more,the weather is getting hot,had it for a year now with only 12500km on the clock,but even the supercharged engine cant bring the joy of the m3w

At what rpm do you shift gears when your on full throttle?i get pinging sound at high rpm,i use the highest octane avalibale,ultra

Hi Q8 , I was thinking about your pinging question as I was driving around today , I get it at from around 4000 revs on hard acceleration , and like you I use the Ultra petrol . I think mine is doing it more , it is one of the things to be looked at when it's serviced in a couple of weeks . So will let you know what they say .

Yes thank you,..i disconnected the battery once for an hr,so i hope it doesnt need an ecu software upgrade/update
