I know there'll be plenty of pages on here somewhere, but I can never find anything on forums Can somebody please tell me how to remove the headlights on my +4?

Small screw underneath the bezel, this then exposes some other screws.

Put a small temporary mark on the glass to show the position of the screw on the bezel(chrome rim). It can be very awkward to replace the screw when re-fitting if you don't. Gerry.

Nice idea Gerry, I do something similar, by fitting the screw in it's thread finger tight to align the bezel to it's position. It's also a good time to replace the Screw with a New Stainless screw. You will also need a 90* screw driver ratchet is preferable like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/compact-90-deg...n-/251227916286or this shows how to use a spanner and a screw tip. http://www.pcarworkshop.com/index.php/993_-_Ignition_Wire_ReplacementWhen bezel is removed only ONE screw holds the lens in place (at about 20 minutes past the hour) , the other two in the 'forks' are for adjusting the beam do not screw. Once the small screw has been removed, the chrome rim comes off by twisting, if I remember correctly, anticlockwise. Going back on in the opposite direction as you align the screw hole.
The wiring is not particularly long and the headlamp is relatively heavy, so if you are able to provide a resting position for the loose headlamp at the lower level of the headlamp, you will be able to protect your paintwork from scratching and to prevent the headlamp cables from stretching and to free your hands for the work.

Thanks for the tips, all. Managed one, but still haven't got a compact enough 90* for the passenger side, I'll get one tomorrow
