Hi Guys,I have an 86 morgan 1600 cvh 1600 that when warmed up needs constant blipping of the throttle to bring it down from 1300 revs to around 800,seems to be a tune problem, but has anyone got any ideas in this area,as its something I would like to fix myself,....all suggestions greatly appreciated.

Ref DFT, check the rotational position of the electrically heated bimetal coil assembly. There are three positions depending on the ambient weather and how soon one wants the chokes to come off. There is a pointer on the case of the bimetallic that indicates its rotational position. Check yours. You can remove the bimetallic case and see if the levers are free, but only as a last resort! Keep in touch as I have some understanding of the auto chokes on these beasts. (PS I run a DFT32/34 on my 2.0 Zetec just 130 bhp then!) Cheers PJB.
