I suspect the £70k price excludes auto gearbox, a/c and easy up hood ..

I am happy to lose the auto and the a/c.

Must have roof though .. otherwise car is nearly pointless in the UK ..

Also missing is a windscreen for the roof and power steering.

On the Piston Heads site today:

Interesting that the metallic beige(?) and grey cars with the black and silver wheels respectively are steel wheels; presumably cutting cost, but with some increase in unsprung weight c.f. the alloys on the silver car.

They all look good though thumbs

The steel wheels could well be lighter...I have steel wheels and winter tyres on the BMW and they are 2kg lighter each than the flash M Sport alloys with summer tyres. Better ride, too.

Are they size for size the same Peter?
Quite often winter tyre sets are higher profile (more comfortable) and narrower section; both of which are better for winter grip, especially in snow.
