A superb write-up Rich and you're right, you will be sticking around (even if I have to chain you to a chair!).

I'm sad to see the 'sister' car to mine leave the fold but hope 'she' has gone to a great home. I have known the car from new and remember chatting with Brian before he bought it and with you when you were considering the purchase. The Aeromax is special and you never feel like an owner but rather a custodian.

Interestingly, I have had an unsolicited approach, from an intermediary, asking if I would be willing to sell, so the interest seems to be increasing over the past 12 months. The biggest issue will be what you would replace it with because there simply isn't another vehicle like it and therefore your route of something the answers another demand makes the most sense.

Enjoy your FF, it will be rapid and you'll have ticked another petrolhead box; that, in itself, is no mean feat. Who knows, perhaps you'll find yourself back behind the wheel of a Morgan sooner than you think - these cars have a funny way of luring us back.

Excellent end of term report.

A difficult decision to sell but the FF is definitely a suitably left-field 'Max replacement when sensible family 4 seater transport is required. Enjoy!

Is that a Greco Titanium? The lighting doesn't do it any justice... smile

Showroom lighting is never the best...
Just dropped the car at its new home, felt weird giving the keys to someone else and just walking away.

New owner is suitably ecstatic which is great to see though. Also got to drive his BMW1M albeit briefly, wow, that thing is seriously good!

I hope you have as much fun in the FF as you've had with the Morgans Rich.

Your only problem now will be worrying about the sticky fingers marks being left in the back of the FF.

Enjoy. thumbs

All the best with the collection of your new steed today. And what a beautiful way to document the end of owning a stunning, special car. Having had the pleasure of an FF for a while this year, before finally succumbing to the 'other' 4 seater (well, 2+2) I can only reiterate what an absolutely stunning machine it is. Truly beautiful, especially in the grey/silver hues, with an epic engine, and the best gearbox in production today. Period. It truly is a special car, and has presence in spades.

Enjoy today,

Julian.

Thanks folks smile
This won't be my last Aeromax post, and I'll still be maintaining the Aeromax blog as I continue to try and document sightings all in one place..

Here's a pic of it just before I handed it over to its new owner..

Julian - what did you go for? Rapide? Conti? Be interested to know how you are finding it?

We went with the California actually. Only a V8, but still a fabulous thing. Surprisingly roomy as well:) and the bonus of a split personality with coupe/convertible looks. It's my wife's car, and it handles the daily work and 3 kids pretty well. She absolutely adores it. First car she has ever really felt that way about, which is typical that it took a Ferrari to do that!

Enjoy the FF. And be warned, the Ferrari brand is addictive.
