Hello folks.

Dipping my toes into the possibility of potential ownership of a Moggy.

Tomorrow I am taking my first steps (rather than just sighing when one passes me) by popping down to Berrybrook in Exeter to get over the first possible hurdle.

Will I fit (with the roof up swmbo has already said no to a M3W! )

I AM 6'3" with a long torso I currently drive for the last 10 years a smart Roadster, which are Tardis like having covered 150,000 miles in it I know the charms of open top motoring.

But being human I have always hankered after a Moggy secretly I'd love an M3W (I had a trumpet and a chair some 30 odd years back)

Tomorrow I guess will be the easy part sort of binary logic so to speak.

If it's a 1 then I guess I may well have a raft of questions to ask you folks.

Let's hope it's a moderately dry topless day tomorrow for my journey from Dorset to Exeter.

Smart Roadsters are very impressive. I was taken down to BHM to pick up my Plus 4/4 in a Smart and it was a very pleasant run down.
Welcome.................

Welcome to TM. I hope you enjoy your run out tomorrow. Don't take your wallet with you if there is the slightest possibility that you might not ant ant as otherwise you ill definitely come home with one.

hat's a hood by the way?! In18 months we've not put ours up yet so head room shouldn't be a problem! Even if it does rain as long as you're going over 35mph you don't notice the rain too much!

Enjoy tomorrow and good luck with your search.

Hope you have a good trip tomorrow, but looking at the forecast a few hours ago, its not looking brilliant (pardon pun!) umbrella
Anyway - Welcome to TM smile

Wishing you a warm welcome to TM milligoon and a good trip to Berrybrook tomorrow - just remember the car will chose you, good luck.

My No2 SIL has a Smart Roadster as a toy (he is an accountant at the blue oval) and we go to Goodwood revival or Festival of Speed in it sometimes and it's a fun car. thumbs

Have a good day tomorrow.
Be warned - once you drive a Morgan the binary switch clicks from 'want to have' onto 'must have'.
It could be an expensive day but the adventure starts here.
Good luck .

Welcome to TM ! Well, it's sunny down here in cider country as I look out of my bedroom window having just been brought my morning cuppa by my man servant...Torquemeister.

So hopefully it will keep shining for your trip to Berrybrooks. As has been said, the car will choose you probably in rather a seductive manner!

I am 6' 3" as well and larger than most. There are many things that can be done to gain an inch here and there so don't be put off if space is tight, there have been people taller than us who can get in. Try a range of cars as some have more legroom and some have narrower transmission tunnels, something out there will suit you. Join the fun and you will wonder why you have waited so long. Safe miles.
