Just a bit of a heads up for anyone who has recently acquired a set of the Suplex shocks; there appears to be a fault in the first "large scale" production batch of these shocks. It manifests itself externally as the loss of the click stops on the damping adjusters. In the case of mine three of them lost the click stops as soon as they were wound right up to max to count the clicks as a pre-installation check on settings. They are going back and a new set is going to be sent out to me hopefully in the next very few days. This dodgy batch has effectively been recalled by Suplex but not all of them have made it back to them as yet (including my ones!)
Having talked to Dan at Suplex UK, the problem seems to be gas pressure getting to a part of the valve mechanism where it shouldn't, causing the valve to stick and it's not just a case of losing the adjustment facility but the operation of the shock is compromised. Some have apparently gone sick in the box without any user intervention.
As a minor detail I would suggest that anyone who is expecting the shocks to be adjusted to a good starting point straight out of the box may be a tad disappointed. Mine had four widely different damping settings and ditto for the spring pre-load.
On the other hand, the sun is shining here in Aberdeen so I am about to sort myself out, jump in the car and go for a therapeutic blast through the hills which will also serve to get the shocks back to Revolutions.

That's very disappointing Calum , especially when you consider the cost ! I look forward to hearing your report when you get the replacements fitted . Like you I would have thought they would have come set up at a good starting point , and certainly all the same !

The good news is Suplex have been up front and are sorting the problem at their cost.

Quite disappointing! But have a good ride!
I wish I could make a drive too, but have to wait till I can collect the Morgan with 4 new Vredestein Classic Sprint tires, and of course, in Holland, with Koni shocks all around! drive

My change over to the Suplex package has made the machine soooooo much
better to drive. The Suplex's really do make a great difference in how the M3W handles and mainly comes off of big bumps in the road. So much smoother and I'm not worried about which way the thing will land after a bump.

My ride height gained a 1/2 inch high after installing which I think is the reason there is very little bump steer now. I did follow the instructions on measuring where the shocks should have the height adjustment, where the collar should be.
The only thing I have not done was set all the damping settings, I've been
Just so happy the way it came out of the box and was going to wait till I put the Empire kit on this Monday to fine tune everything then.

But I'll go out and spin the damping

At who else's cost would you expect it to be, Dr Pangloss?
