For sale 1985 Morgan 4/4 4 seater colour black with red leather interior. The vehicle is fitted with a Simmonds Red Mohair Low Line hood with Single Handed header rail. This hood allows easy access to the rear of the vehicle without having to remove the hood. It also has a Four (4) zip Mohair easy fit tonneau with zip access to the rear seats. There is also a leather 1/4 tonneau or hood envelope to use when carrying 4 passengers.
It is fitted with rear seat lap belts. A Kalf interior mirror is fitted along with a Walnut dash and a walnut Raid removable steering wheel (the best anti theft device I know of), walnut gear knob and a removable Windstop behind the front seats for when only 2 persons are in the vehicle.
At the rear I have a stainless steel upright luggage rack complete with a Carlton Airtec 67 cms suitcase with mohair cover and an attachable mohair boat bag. The suitcase it attached to the rack with a lockable stainless steel clamp assembly. For safety I have attached extra indicator lights to the luggage rack.
At the front of the vehicle there are the normal side lights on the wings and the side lights inside the headlights also work and +8 spotlights with stone covers.
The wheels are 72 spoke stainless steel with good tyres, the spare has never been on the road.
There is a 4 into 2 into 1 tubular stainless steal exhaust manifold with a full stainless steal exhaust system. In the last year I have fitted koni adjustable shocks all round and a reconditioned radiator.
The vehicle also has windscreen fitted side wind deflectors and door handles. The alternator has been upgraded to the XR3 type.
I have nearly all the MOT certificates and old tax discs long with all receipts and copies of the original invoice. The vehicle does between 35 & 40 MPG and has covered 100.000 miles. It has 2 services with oil changes every year and does not use any oil and shows between 50 & 75 psi oil pressure when hot at 2000rpm. My wife and I have enjoyed this car for 15 years taking it across the USA via Route 66 in 2004 and on numerous trips to the continent and all around the UK without a hitch.
