Just got back from an excellent day with the MTWC at RAF Cosford.
As a new member I am still putting names to faces , but met quite a few new members , including a couple of 5 speeder owners.
One of them had recently fitted the Fairbourne screen , and nothing but praise for the quality of the product , the servcie from Fiarbourne and the products effectiveness on long drives and at high speed. Very tempted ....
He also mentioned as he had en early M3W , the bolting pattern on the aero screens is different to later models ( its a Morgan !! ) , and if yours is an early model you need to mention this, they cater for both.

Some pics , including views from the drivers side. Stood next to a traditional 3 wheeler , the shape / size looked completely in keeping with the 'heritage' angle , if that is your thing.

Just had to include this one - in the main display hanger , a breathtaking way to display a Lightning. I remember as a kid at a 1960's airshow seeing one go into a vertical climb like this just after take off. We got the full jet backwash / fumes etc - brilliant !

I met a Countach owner at a Lamborghini celebration at the factory in 1990. He was a retired scrap dealer and he had obviously done quite well. He showed me some photos of his driveway in which there was a Lightning in vertical pose. He had bought it (I think minus engines), cut the wings off so that it would fit on his lorry and then welded them back on. Rather more interesting than garden gnomes.

Great shots of the new screen as you say they are really in keeping with the bloodline.

The Lightning is stunning in that pose - remember watching the Flying Tiger Squadron74 when they were based at Coltishal not realising just how special they were as a kid but very impressed with the noise/power.

Well my screen is fitted, just needs a bit of silicone sealer.

They arrived and were followed a day later by an invoice, nice trusting folk. I like them. Black centre is cool.

Will sort some pics but the "Bonnet" and "Cowl" are off getting body colour on Cowl and proper clips on Bonnet!.

Impression is that touring may be more comfortable. Will let you know soon as a few thousand miles lie ahead, on and off the train Steve!

The manufacturer is looking at rear view mirror attachments. I suggested maybe a perspex wind stop the shape opt the roll bars and held on with velcro fastenings as a prototype. Calm down its only a commercial. Just a suggestion.
