I saw on the facebook group (Morgan 3 Wheeler Fans) that someone mentioned an under hood storage box made by Morgan West. I can't seem to find it on their website. Anyone have a pic or review of it? Any other sources for an under the hood storage solution?

Ok, there is a pic of it here and the cost is $857. They say they are the only source for the USA. I'm in Europe anyway so does anyone know of a source in Europe or similar products? http://www.morganwest.net/accessories2/morgacces1x.html

Librands in the UK does this foot locker storage box, for considerable less than $857. Might fit in the bonnet area ? http://www.librands.co.uk/products-category-17.html

Being a cheapskate I used a large cash box from a stationeries supplier, its lockable and black on my +4 and cost the grand sum of £9.95.

I know some have used metal WW2 ammo boxes, I bought a wooden WW1 ammo box but have never gotten around to fitting it under the hood as I access that area only to check my fluids as I try and avoid removing the hood if t all possible.

I presume that's for the long-barrel Smith & Wesson Model 29. Very nice. The question I ask is this: will you have sufficient time to get out of your M3W, remove the front hood/bonnet/cowl/culling/lid, unlock your $857 stainless-steel storage box, check that your massive handgun is cocked and ask menacingly, "Are you feeling lucky?"? Someone is certainly feeling lucky, suggesting that price.

Our friend Melvyn Rutter has them, I had one fitted but as P Dron says, you don't want to use it for anything you want to access in a hurry!

I made a box from wood that conforms to the floor space next to the battery and fuse cover under the front cover. I use it to carry what tools are needed to fix a flat tire on the road. There is a photo on the morgan 3 wheeler fan page on Facebook.

Morgan West are taking the michael at $857. I would think you could have a custom made box for less. Do you need a locking box? If not what about a large plastic food container or toolbox. The Librands footwell box looks interesting but how do you access it to lock or place anything in it?

Aha. Same box available from Melvyn Rutter for £334 ($566). LHD and RHD models available.
I don't need locking but I like the idea of something with a top so I can loose load items and also that is sized to the available space so as to offer as much storage as possible.
