Interesting that Suplex states that only fronts are defective. One of my Suplex rear shocks failed their "simple test." Both fronts also failed. MMC has sent relacements.
86Mog - following your comments and the bad ride out I decided to adjust the rears. Removed the boot liner, adjusted them to full hard and then adjusting them back off, neither of them work. It would appear you are correct and that it's pot luck!
I'm taking them all off now and putting the Spax back on.
@ Black Adder, did you get your empire kit anodized? couldn't tell from the pics if the bits were black anodized or polished. best of luck and keep us posted on the exhaust clearance.
@ Blake - yes I took the Anodised option as I wanted all the 'works' to be black given the amount of chrome I have on the car. Suplex is now off the car and the Spax is back on which sorts out all the clearance issues.
Wow, just caught up on this thread. Mine has been at the shop for the past two weeks, wish I had seen this all. My shop didn't mention any issues setting the Suplex, which they adjusted several times after a few test rides. I'll probably check myself here shortly just to be safe, but I'm surprised so many people are having issues. I do know mine was one of the first kits sent (I had exhanged the Spax units).
