Evening all
3k miles done, and its time to give my 4/4 a drop of grease. Can anyone tell me where to find a servicing guide (preferbly with picies) for a 2008 4/4 1.8l. Also seem to be getting a squeaky back end( confused). Sounds like its coming from the suspension. It got worse after she had to go in for warraty repair to the fuel/ electrics systems.

Squeaks coming from the rear suspension of a trad mog are not uncommon and could likely be from the leaf springs. How far from your dealer are you? If not far, drop in and ask them to take a look. smile

Over hundred miles from the one in Germany that seemed to put the squeak there. Any sort of diy hints?

How many kilometres did you with your car from new ?
I think, as for all new cars, things have to get in place
before working properly.
It's hand made car so be patient with it and you will be
rewarded.
Mine +4 2.0 2008 begin to ride properly after 3.000 kms.
Regards from Belgium

...and mine (9000 km since new) has "sounds" coming and going. I think, it depends a lot on meteorological conditions, because the wood reacts with humidity and temperature.

Just learn to love it, same as I did love

Salut from Lėtzebuerg, smile
Ivo

PS: quarre, where in Belgium do you live?

Thanks for the help guys. She has done just over 3000miles (5000km) since March 08. I'm used to strange noises and that from cars as I have dealt with Land Rovers for years and VW Beetles. This is a continual noise of parts rubbing. RTCC have suggested oiling the bushes on the front leaf spring hangers. so i will try that tonight.
