I have a problem with my passenger side mirror pointing too far down. Grateful if anyone could advise on how easy it is to adjust the mirror when the positioning handle has run out of 'travel'. Basically even when adjusted to full 'up', the mirror itself is still pointing too far down. Is ''recalibrating'' easy? How?
Hope this makes some sort of sense
Thanks

I have not had to adjust mine yet, but will be interested in any replies to update my notes. Best of luck as these cars are a bit scarce.

I had this on the s2( cannot remember what thie s1 mirrors are like) but I found if you held the case you could rotate the entire mirror to get it to a better position for adjusting internally

Yes you can rotate them around there fixing. On the S3 there is an aluminium collar which can be slackened off if required.

Thanks for the responses.i think it is likely the same for the S1 as there is an aluminium collar held by grub screws. I will try slackening, and see if this releases the mirror to allow it to swivel, makes sense
Thanks again
