Purchasing from overseas/sight unseen can be a real leap of faith. I'm very interested in the S3/S4 hybrid ex-morgan trackday car but sadly can't see it in person.
Can anyone suggest a solution e.g. a specialist who can inspect for me?
Naturally happy to pay for this service. I'm hoping someone knows a good indie who can perform this service or perhaps an owner/expert who would like a distraction and some beer money...
Suggestions??
Robin.

what about Brian Miller aka Cearealsurfer +44 1494 448158

He knows everything about Aero and looks after quite a few.

This is not an answer to what you seek, but there is a very good article in the (I think last) MOCA magazine, Morganear, by a member that imported a 4 seater to Australia which may give you some clues about the import process.
I too had initially thought of going that route, but being impatient, I decided to buy a new one!
Good luck!

I would support using Millers as well.
They are just up the M40 outside the M25, not far from London at all and easy to reach.
They are independent of Morgan and so have no axe to grind.
They race Morgans and so know what to look for in the car and any possible damage due to racing as well.
They did mine before I purchased it (S2) and were very thorough and good value. I was very happy.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Millers sounds just what I was after. I'll call him Monday and see what he can offer, even more important that race Morgan's as well. If I do proceed with the sale I'll be buying one that's had some track use and an 'off'.

Bank Holiday today. You probably won't get an answer. Should be back to normal on Tuesday...

You might wish to try Allon White Sports Cars near Milton Keynes. I had my Aero Supersport inspected and serviced there. Good service and knowledgeable.
